Making plans
題目:
1.Are you good at managing your time?
2.Do you make plans every day?
3.What is the latest plan you made?
4.What is the hardest part about making plans?
范文:
1.Are you good at managing your time?
Generally speaking, I’m literally an expert when it comes to time management. As my friends always say, unlike most of them, I can always distribute my time properly when finishing my homework, and I'm able to make both long-term and short-term plans, which helps me to monitor and evaluate my progress in both work and study.
2.Do you make plans every day?
No, I don’t. However, I do make plans every week and every month. For example, when I was preparing for my exams last semester, I made weekly and monthly plans to help me schedule my timetable.
3.What is the latest plan you made?
The most recent plan I’ve made is for my upcoming graduation holiday. I’ve planned to travel to Russia after my graduation and to go to Moscow and some other cities for around two weeks where I will meet my friends.
4.What is the hardest part about making plans?
Well, I think the hardest part is that when you make plans, you have to think in advance about what to do and when to do it, and that’s very challenging. For instance, when I make plans for my exams, I have to decide which chapters are the most important and settle on a date to review them.
In which class/ level s/he taught: Usually we get some inspiring teacher in our school level and university level. Mention the exact class he took and how old you were then.
His / her teaching style: Exemplary teachers usually have some unique way of teaching. A good teacher makes the tough subjects interesting. Finally a good teacher does not pressurize the students to read around the clock and always patiently answer the questions of the students. They invite questions and do a friendly interaction with the students rather than only delivering lessons.

Describe a person who encouraged and helped you to achieve a goal
You should say:
Who this person is
What this person encouraged you to do
How this person has helped you
And explain why their encouragement helped you achieve the goal
Speaking of a person who encouraged me and helped me to achieve a goal, I am reminded of myEnglish teacher, Ms. Wang, without whom (沒有了他/她) I would never have made it to university.Ms. Wang was an experienced, gentle and easygoing teacher in her thirties, who was well knownamong her students because her classes were never short of (從來不缺少) laughter and joy.
However, no matter how interesting the classes were, I was once a very naughty student, reluctant to(不愿意) follow teachers’ instructions and listen to classes. Needless to say, I was among the worst students in most of the teachers’ eyes, but not in Ms. Wang’s. During our interactions, Ms.Wang somehow discovered that I had a special interest in letters and was actually quite talented in language acquisition, but it was my unwillingness to concentrate on studies that(強(qiáng)調(diào)句,正是…) prevented me from making progress. Therefore, she began to put more attention on me, trying toencourage me by leaving positive messages on my notebook, in which she wrote: you are better andtalented than you think you are, so please work hard and make me proud. She also began to havesome private conversations with me after classes, encouraging me to make full use of my talent toachieve better grades. Touched by her encouragement and kindness, I eventually found myconfidence and began to concentrate on my studies. Thanks to her encouragement, Iwas able to discover my gift in language learning and achieve outstanding grades, enabling me toenter higher education.
People are now aware of the fact that many restaurants are not that hygienic.
Despite the fact that she was wearing a seat belt, she was thrown sharply forward.
It doesn't matter how expensive the gift is, it's the thought that matters.
雅思口語(yǔ)技巧5:用tend to替換most of
當(dāng)你想說most of…
Most Chinese people cook at home instead of dining out. Chinese people tend to cook at home.
That performance was pretty impressive.
I'm pretty sure about that.
還有instead of saying “very angry”, you can use the word “furious”.
那同理,如果我們想表達(dá)a little + adj.,也可以找到相應(yīng)的更傳神的形容詞,例如:tipsy = a little drunk
She's shockingly beautiful.
It's an outrageously expensive meal.
-Does your school have diving classes?
-Not that I'm aware of, no.
-Have you ever had the experience when you watched the sky for a long time?
-Not that I can think of, no.
-Do you love nature?
-Well, not really. I'm more of an indoor person.
That movie was so boring, I mean, nothing happened for the first hour!
I mean…,比如:
He has a gorgeous wife, and by wife I mean mistress.
“You mean…?”
Sorry, I didn't quite catch it.
Sorry, could you slow down, please?
Sorry, can you rephrase the question, please?
相反的,語(yǔ)速太慢也會(huì)對(duì)考生有影響,如果是因?yàn)橄氩黄饍?nèi)容,可以在停頓的地方自然過度,比如:let me see……I think……well.
